If you are looking to make use of your camper van into the colder months, especially given that we didn't have the warmest summer this year, the best way to do this is to add a diesel heater. Diesel heaters are the most efficient way to keep a van warm, prevent damp bedding and condensation, and make camping in the winter much more pleasant. We install diesel heaters into VW Transporters whether they are converted already, or not. The heaters are underslung and can usually still be fitted if you have electrical items under your driver seat.

We only fit Planar/Autoterm heaters and these come with a 3-year warranty. We are registered installers. These heaters also come with an optional smart modem that enable you to control the heater from your mobile (ask us more about these).

You will need to have a leisure battery (or we can install this for you at the same time). The diesel source will be the main vehicle tank. The pickup will not be fitted all the way to the bottom, so it will never fully drain the tank.
