Adding rear seats to a vehicle, plus windows, allows a van to be turned into a kombi, which is very useful for families. We fit our seats using genuine VW components. We fit the required reinforcements and fit the seats exactly where VW do, ensuring crash tested certification remains applicable. You can trust us to ensure that your safety is protected.
OUR KOMBI CONVERSION PROCESS
These are the steps we take when carpet lining your van.

Initial Strip Out + Clean Down
Removing any plywood, OEM panels and remove bulkhead and the shims.

Fit Seat Brackets and Cut Window Panels
We then proceed with the messier jobs, drilling the floor for the seat brackets and cutting out windows. Our seats are fitted with Genuine VW reinforces and components.

LINE THE VAN AND FIT WINDOWS
If you opt to have the van carpet lined, insulated or sound deadened at the same time, we complete this once the window panels are cut out, and then proceed to fit the windows.

Fit Floor and Seats
Finally, we fit the floor (whether this be ply or a Genuine VW floor) and then fit the seats in, finishing off with Genuine VW deeper side step and extended rear threshold.
